Curiousities of the roommate...
Well, after a most chilling day (twas most cold) I have settled down to work and stuff... Only to find that I sat down several hours ago and no work has been accomplished. Ah the paradox of my life. But that isn't why I wrote.
My roomie continues to baffle me. She has used nearly an entire BIG bottle of Advil since the middle of September. Apparently, she gets headaches a lot. Except then today I walk in and see her dump a handful of Advil in her mouth and wash it down. I'm like "how many did you take?" The answer: 8. 8!! On the bottle it says you should take no more than 6 in a single day and she downed 8 at once. She's had problems with Advil addiction before too. And her mother gives her a huge bottle and no supervision... Oy... I looked up Ibuprofen on webmd and it says overdose can cause nausea, cramps, HEADACHE, dizziness, etc. I told her that by taking too much she's simply amplifying what she wants to cure. She merely looked surprised. God the intelligence of people these days. I'm gonna have to watch her a bit and just hope it stops cuz god knows it's not my job to play counselor to her. Oh dear lord I have a paper to write. Farewell!
