Today's mission: success! I went to Old Navy and in less than half an hour had managed to find a pair of jeans that I liked *and* fit me properly!! Yay.. And then I went to the doctor's where I'm apparently in nearly perfect health.
Other things... not so good..
My grandfather (not biological, but the only one I've ever known) has been in poor health for a while now. Just recently they found evidence of tumors in the brain and liver. He's been on radiation, but has been still at home with my grandmother. Even if the radiation works, they say he's probably got another 8 months... My grandmother called tonight to let us know that he went back to the hospital this evening. I don't know what to think anymore. Especially because... well... I didn't get to see him at all this summer cuz I was in Cape Cod. And I didn't have time over winter break to go visit. And... well.. he's always been a great role model for me and I wanted him to see me graduate college and go out into the world and all that good stuff...
God.. now I'm crying... *curls up into a little ball* I can't deal with this right now...
