fiarra | Geek? very yes!

Today was a very bouncy day. Woke up in a good mood despite cancellation before 10am which didn't help me at all since my classes start at 10 on Mondays.... But I had time to shower and actually finish my problem set that was due at 10. Yay for easy bio problem sets.... I also started off the day with an iced mocha, which was interesting given that it was 3/4 espresso+chocolate and only 1/4 milk. Result: by the time I got back from my room i was hyper, bouncy and shaking from too much caffeine. *grin* Fun times.

neoathena and I went on a grand expedition to the market of asian-ness. The one in my town. Half an hour away. *squee* Bought much Pocky, including this white chocolate kind that looks awesome... I also bought the cutest pair of small mugs. One has monkeys, one has pink kitties. <3

Then we went to Dragon's Lair, the local RPG-type geek store. I'd never been in before, but Kate wanted to see if they sold the game "lunch money". They did and she was happy. While there drooling over the Munchkin sets (they had them all!!!) I saw another game called "Ninja Burger" (www.sjgames.com/ninjaburger). I ended up buying that. Even if I dont play here, I know it will be fun to play with my brother and sister. And then... I bought a set of DnD dice...

Yeah... something I never thought I would do. But Jacob has been trying to get a campaign started for the longest time, and we made my character the other day.. so I figured I might as well... Plus, they're pretty... *shifty eyes* Translucent green... and an extra d20 that I bought separate because it's shimmer green....

Aaaaanyway, tomorrow is Jacob's birthday *and* it's Valentine's Day. Fun times.

Maybe I should get some work done..... or something....
