Mmm...
Weekendness...
Today has been so long.. feeling kinda headache-y now...
At 1am last night, feeling kinda geeky, I wandered down into my basement wondering where my old laptop was and if I could play with it. I walked to the site of water seeping out under the door that separates the yucky large part of the basement from the nice part that has all our comps and such. I open the door to a spreading puddle of water.. everywhere. So there was me.. armed with a towel, a bucket, slippers and my iPod at 1:30am... mopping my basement floor... *sweatdrop* An hour later, I gave up with probably about 2/3 of it cleaned. Fun times.
Woke up at 8:30 this morning to drop my sister off at music at the Hartt School. There's a stream near there... i guess it flooded cuz one of the lower parking lots was no longer a parking lot.. it was a river of sorts. I wished I had a camera. It was amazing.
Also went to the mall... much money spent and much happiness. The final count: 2 anime t-shirts at Hot Topic and shoelaces (ZOMG THEY HAVE NEKO-SAMA SHOELACES!!! Now I can always have the kitty with me). 2 long sleeve shirts at jc penny to wear under t-shirts. Angelic Layer DVD. One manga volume. 2 shirts, jeans and a belt at Old Navy. I've decided that what my mom said at Old Navy is pretty true. She holds that you can always find what you need at Old Navy and even if you dont, you'll find something you like.... considering that I was looking for long sleeve shirts, found little at the mall, and then walked into Old Navy and nearly into a table full of plain long sleeve shirts... I think she is right. Heh..
Oh yes... I also went all out at the Asian Supermarket. Pocky, ramune, a random assortment of noodle bowls (they're cheap.. and I dunno what any of them taste like so i just grabbed some) and thos little jelly cups. Yummm. I felt kinda... touristy though... Just cuz what I bought is like the equivalent of buying pure junk. Heh.. it's all good. <3
I love driving our new car. I forget how much I like driving. It makes me sad... I realized that I hadn't driven in town since like the end of May. Just because I was gone all summer and then left for school right away..
ZOMG!!! I SAW SERENITY. I thought I was gonna die. And then I thought I did. Then the movie ended. And all I know is that as it ended, I just wanted it to keep going. I wanted to see more. I wanted the details. The inane filler conversations... everything. *sigh* So good. Now I need to rewatch the series...
So I have a big exam on Friday... and I've succeeded in doing no work. And I'm prolly sleeping till 11 tomorrow and then leaving for school, then going to work... so I guess I won't be doing much tomorrow either...
Oh well.. such is life.
ps- i love how half my comments on the last entry are on the fact that it got sunny today..
